Q: What version of Minecraft do I need?
A: The server currently runs on Minecraft version 1.21.11. Make sure your game matches that version for the best experience.
Q: What’s the server IP address?
A: Our IP is play.algorithmoasismc.com — just copy it into the Multiplayer screen and click Join Server!
Q: Can I join on Bedrock Edition?
A: No! Bedrock players cannot connect using the same IP. Currently some systems do not work on bedrock.
Q: Do I need to be whitelisted?
A: Nope — our server is open to all players. Just follow the rules and have fun!
Q: I can’t connect — what should I do?
A: Check your Minecraft version, restart your game, and make sure the IP is typed exactly right. If issues continue, open a support ticket on Discord.
Q: What are the basic rules?
A: Be kind, no griefing, no hacking, and no stealing. Respect staff and other players. Check the Rules Tab or Discord for full Rules.
Q: Are there language or chat restrictions?
A: Keep chat family-friendly — no hate speech, NSFW content, or excessive spam.
Q: What happens if someone breaks the rules?
A: Staff may mute, kick, or ban depending on the severity. Repeated offenses can result in permanent bans.
Q: What game modes are available?
A: Currently we offer a Custom Towny with more to come.
Q: Is there an economy or shop?
A: Yes — earn money through mining, farming, or trading, then spend it at the in-game shop using /shop or at player markets.
Q: Do you have ranks or perks?
A: Absolutely! Ranks unlock special abilities like homes, kits, and cosmetics. Check /ranks in-game or our website store for details.
Q: Are there claims or protection systems?
A: Yep — we use Towny for claim protection use /t create to make your new town.
Q: I found a bug or glitch—what should I do?
A: Please report it on our Discord in the #🎫・open⋅a⋅ticket channel.
Q: I’m lagging or crashing — how can I fix it?
A: Lower your render distance, close background apps, and check your internet speed. If the issue persists, let staff know so we can check the server side.
Q: How can I contact staff?
A: The best way is through our Discord server, under #🎫・open⋅a⋅ticket or by DMing a moderator.
Q: I lost items, can I get them back?
A: Staff can’t always replace lost items, but we’ll review what happened. Provide details or screenshots if possible.
